Fall Rebolting Day

  • Sinks Canyon State Park 3079 Sinks Canyon Road Lander, Wyoming, 82520 United States (map)

Join us on Saturday, November 14, 2026 at the Sandstone Buttress in Sinks Canyon State Park for our Fall Rebolting Day!

Regularly inspecting and replacing aging bolts and anchors helps keep our community safe and our local climbing areas in good condition for years to come.

We’d love some extra hands to help carry gear, serve as ground crew, and tackle a bit of trail work around the crag. You don’t need to be a rebolting expert to pitch in – we’ll primarily need volunteers on the ground to help keep things moving.

When: Saturday, November 14, 2026 at 10AM
Where: Sandstone Buttress, Sinks Canyon State Park
What to bring: Your harness, belay device, and a helmet. We’ll have extra helmets available to borrow, so don’t worry if you don’t have one. Please dress for the weather in comfortable work clothes/shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty.

We’re incredibly grateful to the folks who give their time, energy, and resources to help keep our local hardware safe – like the members of our Access & Advocacy Committee. These days are a critical part of caring for our crags, and every extra set of hands makes a difference.

We hope to see you there!
