Wag Bag Stations

One of our ongoing programs is maintaining human waste disposal bag stations, also known as “Wag Bag” stations, at some of the busier climbing areas around Lander. As climbing continues to grow in popularity, WyoClimbers is committed to keeping our crags clean! When ya gotta go, ya gotta go, and while we always recommend using toilets when possible, Wag Bags are a secondary option that can reduce the risk of groundwater contamination.

We have regularly stocked Wag Bag stations located throughout Sinks Canyon State Park at the Moss Cave, Killer Cave, and the School, as well as Fossil Hill. At Wild Iris, stations are located at the Rising from the Plains and Cowboy Poetry areas of Main Wall, as well as North Country.
