Seasonal Closures and wildlife updates

Maintaining access to climbing and climbing areas is key for our organization.

We work with land managers, policy makers, local community leaders, and other climbing/recreational organizations to promote and maintain access.

We work with the American Safe Climbing Association (ASCA) to rebolt and provide anchors and hardware on routes in the Lander area.

To this day, we’ve replaced over 6000 bolts and counting.

There are many species that live close in proximity to some of the best limestone climbing here in Lander.

wag bag program

As climbers, we have a responsibility to keep the areas we recreate in clean.

We’ve partnered with the LOR foundation to provide wag bag stations at Wild Iris, Sinks Canyon, and Fossil Hill.

trail days

Each year, we provide over 300 volunteer hours on State Park or Forest Service projects.

This year, we updated the Fossil hill trail as part of the Climbers’ Festival.
